With over 30 years experience in the Civil Engineering and Construction industry in both Ireland and England, John Hickey established Annaholty Energy and Engineering Services in 2009.

Since then, the company has grown from a strong customer base focused mostly in the Mid-West to now providing a Nationwide Airitghtness Testing, Part-L Design and BER Certificate service.

Advanced technical expertise and wide ranging experience in the energy and engineering fields underpin our mission which is to provide specialist advisory, testing and certification services to clients spanning both the residential and commercial sectors.

With NSAI registered testers in Munster, Leinster and Connaught, we have the personnel and capacity to provide a complete nationwide Airtightness Testing Service from small Domestic Buildings to large Commercial Buildings.

In addition to this, AE&E Services also provide services such as Part-L Compliant Specifications, BER Certificates (Domestic and Commercial), DEC Certificates and Thermal Imaging Surveys.

John Hickey

Based in Munster, John has over 30 years Engineering and Management experience in the Construction Sector. Having re-skilled in the Energy Sector in 2007, John is now a Certified Passive House Consutlant, SEAI Registered BER and DEC Assessor, NSAI Registered Airtightness Tester and Level 1 Thermographer.

As one of the first NSAI registered Airtightness Testers in the country, John is one of Ireland’s leading Air Tightness Testers and can provide expert advice on achieving appropriate airtightness levels, including remedial works if necessary.
